The Summer Fancy Food Show has been an annual event for the trade since 1955.

The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade is a not-for-profit business trade association established in 1952 to foster trade, commerce and interest in the specialty food industry.

The NASFT is an international organization composed of domestic and foreign manufacturers, importers, distributors, brokers, retailers, restaurateurs, caterers and others in the specialty foods business. The organization has more than 2,100 current member companies throughout the U.S. and overseas.

International Fancy Food & Confection Shows®
The NASFT founded and has sponsored these well-attended, well-regarded shows since 1954. They are considered to be the premier marketplace for reaching the specialty food trade.

The shows attract from 15,000 to 30,000 attendees from specialty food, wine, gift and department stores, supermarkets, restaurants, mail order and other related businesses.

The Summer NASFT Fancy Food Shows® are held annually on the East Coast.
The Winter NASFT Fancy Food Shows® are held annually on the West Coast.
The Spring NASFT Fancy Food Show® is held at McCormick Place in Chicago.
All three shows now include the International Wine & Spirits Pavilion.

The place is the Sheraton-Astor Hotel, where the first Annual National Fancy Food and Confection Show opened on Sunday. Up to 5 P. M. last night more than 12,000 buyers, representing wholesalers and distributors, and specialty companies, as well as all types of retailers, had visited the show. One hundred and twenty-five foreign and American exhibitors are showing their products. Buying has been brisk, with many orders for delivery in October at the latest.
